Working of Sand blasting Machine
The working of sandblasting is very simple. In theInternal External Shot Blasting Machine process, abrasive media is propelled out at a high velocity and pressure with the help of compressed air on the metal substrate so that the foreign particles can be thrown out of the machine surface and it can get a better texture.
In the sand blasting machine, abrasive particles are put into the girt mesh from where it goes down slightly into the pressure pot. Compressed air from the compressor comes into the pressure pot with abrasive media and is pressurized continuously. After a certain level, when the media is pressurized, the pinch valve is opened by the operator; air and abrasive media are supplied to the mixing tube for proper mixing. Here, dual pressure develop from the media vessel and air supply tube. When both pressures are met, they pass from the blasting hose to the metallic substrate on which blasting has to be done.
